About the role

Einsteinz Music runs dynamic, play-based music classes for babies, toddlers and preschoolers (6 months – 5 years), in weekly community classes and in preschool / early learning centre settings. Classes are led by professional musicians and designed to ignite a love of music through rhythm, song and movement.

We’re seeking enthusiastic, musical facilitators to lead weekday-morning classes across our Eastern Suburbs, Inner West, St George Area and Lower North Shore venues. No formal teaching qualifications needed — just confidence, musicality and a love of working with kids.

• Typically 2–3 short morning classes (45 minutes each, with breaks), a few mornings a week.
• Use our tried-and-tested Einsteinz Music format and repertoire.
• Connect with children and their accompanying adult through music, movement and rhythm.
• Full training provided (the length depends on how quickly you pick up the repertoire).
• Term-time only (NSW school terms) — ideal for musicians with flexible schedules.

What we’re looking for

• A confident guitar (or ukulele) player with a strong, clear singing voice.
• A warm, engaging personality with a natural connection to young children.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A valid Working With Children Check.
• Your own transport (driver’s licence and access to a car).
• Willing to travel to all our locations.
• Australian citizen or permanent resident.

Your self-tape audition

Send us a short video of you singing and/or playing — whatever best shows off your musicality, voice and energy.

• Length: two minutes is plenty.
• Content: one children’s song of your choice. We mostly want to hear your voice, your tuning, your groove and your personality.
• Setup: a phone camera is totally fine — film in a quiet room with decent light, and make sure we can see and hear you clearly.
• Be yourself: no costumes or fancy editing needed. Warmth and presence matter more than polish.
